Two SBS2003 with the same name on the network

Hello,

Two companies share a digital x-ray machine and we have connect the two servers to the machine with two secondary network cards on a new subnet. this have been working fine for a couple of months but now the other server has starting to complain about conflict with another computer name in the network. I think it has been doing this for a while but it has still been working but not last week. one of the servers and its clients couldnt connect to the Internet. i disabled the secondary network card and then it had Internet access again.

I need to change one of the servers computer name. i tried this last week but i couldnt change it. Is there a way of doing this or can i somehow isolate them from eachother?
