asked on

Sliverlight development

We are just about to switch development platforms and start a project using Silverlight. (Previously used Delphi/Intraweb).

The prefered language here at our company is now c#.  There are a number of different versions of Visual Studio available and i am not sure what they all can/can not do.

What version would you recomend for out first Sliverlight project, and what would be the pros and cons?

Now latest version of Silverlight is Silverlight 4

Silverlight 4 is working with Visual Studio 2010 & Framework 4. Only.

So if you want to develop application in SL4 then you have to use VS 2010, Framework 4.

you can get resources about Silverlight from below url

C#

C# is an object-oriented programming language created in conjunction with Microsoft’s .NET framework. Compilation is usually done into the Microsoft Intermediate Language (MSIL), which is then JIT-compiled to native code (and cached) during execution in the Common Language Runtime (CLR).
