Terminal Server Printing
I have a Terminal Server 2008 with a Windows 7 Client that has a locally attached(LPT1) HP Laserjet 4200 With Duplex printer. When printing locally, the duplex feature is available and works. However, when I try to print from the Terminal Server, the duplex feature is not available and says that the duplex unit is not installed.
The server is utilizing Easy Print.

There have been some known issues with certain printers that will not work properly when trying to duplex because of driver issues in TS Easy Print feature.

Ok, So What have some of the solutions to this issue been?
You need an updated driver from the printer manufacturer but the 4200 is a pretty old printer

Like you stated this is an old printer. Do you have any other solutions. I don't believe there is an updated print driver that I can find.

The solution of purchasing a new printer is not an economically acceptable solution. I will work the issue out on my own.
