How do I strip out the Toner Pop Up from a HP Print Driver For my Citrix Environment??

Hi

I have a Citrix XenApp 6 Farm, all hosted on win server 2008 R2. My problem is when I add the native driver for the HP Color LaserJet CP3525, all my clients get the Toner level pop up, when using the printer.

I don't want to use the HP UPD, and would prefer to sticking with native drivers.

So my question is do any of you learned people know how to either strip the toner pop up from the driver itself, or how to get the HP 3525 working in my environment minus the toner levels pop up.

Many thanks in advance.

There is not an option within the device properties. not even in the advanced section, the only thing there is that relates is a button that takes you to a HP web site that shows the level of toner in my printer, but no way of configuring it.

What I have done, And I'm waiting for replication to see if it works, is I have run a test page from the print server and as the pop up has come on the server I have managed to configure the settings on the pop up to disable.

What I wont know until replication is complete is if this works to permanently turn it off when my users use the session printer via Citrix.
Sounds reasonable. can check with that specific driver locally if needed, that option was on the UPD and worked here.

David's solution pointed in the right direction and re-enforced my original gut feeling of disabling the pop up from it's own settings on the Print server.

Printers and Scanners

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Traditional printers are being used more for special purposes, like printing photographs or artwork, and are no longer a must-have peripheral; 3D printing has become an area of intense interest, allowing the creation of physical objects. An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.
