I Cisco you have two types of passwords, Password and Secret. Here are the CLIs to change both.

line vty 0 4
password {yourpassword}
line con 0
password {yourpassword}
no enable secret
enable secret {yourpassword}

So that means you don't know the passwords?

Are you able to do a break sequence to get to rmon? If so, just change the config register to 0x2142 and then reset the router. It should ignore the start-up and get you in to add or change the password. This requires access physically to the router through the console port.

What type of switch and firewall? With most Cisco switches, if you hold the mode button then power it on, it will get you to a "rmon" area. Then you have to type in flash_init enter. Then load_helper, enter. Then rename the config.text to config.old or something then type in boot to boot the switch.

I have the password for all the devices. We just need to change them because someone left the company.

Can the password change be done using CCA or it has to be CLI? Which method is easier as I am a rookie on the cisco stuff? By changing the password can it cause issue on the network?

On the firewall you have several:
-passwd to configure the logon password:
in config mode, enter: passwd mypassword
-enable password to get to enable mode (level 15 access):
in config mode, enter: enable password mypassword

And you can define users and their passwords (at different security levels) for logon:
in config mode, enter: username username password password privilege 15
