problem with crystal reports
Hi all, I had a develop in visual.net 2010 that retrive some crystal reports 8, in the client machine im install merge modules and all the stuff i need to retrive the report but fails,
it gave me the next error, that im put below.
" Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.Windows.
File name: 'CrystalDecisions.Windows.
Please, is a mess this think cant work propperly, only in my develop machine

I can't guarantee that the client viewer can update a report from CR8 to CR2010 file format.
Did you also change the application to use the new runtimes? The new runtimes are CR13. The beta for whatever reason was called CR14.

You must be using the BETA version of CR for VS2010. I believe they intended to have the FULL CR2010 now CR2011 out before the VS2010 thus the naming.
The Beta version used CR14 in the dependencies. The solution since they didn't have the assemblies ready was to use the CR12 assemblies froom VS2008. If you uninstall the CR for 2010 you are using and install the production version from the link I porvided, you should then see the requirement for the CR13 assemblies and solve the issue.

No. You need to uninstall the beta from your development machine then install the PROD version from the link above
The link also has links to the client runtime modules you need.

I don't find CR8 available from SAP.
In fact I can't find anything older than CR XI.
What made you purchase that version rather than a later version?

That is not CR8 but CR12.
I don't know if CR2008 works with VS2010. It was my understanding that only the version developed for VS2010 would work.

Is realy confuse that cr is doing, Im update my references to 13.200.00 about crystall dll, install V13 that it's not a production software but an engine for VS 2010, im still have cr 2008 as production software, apply merge modules V13 to client machine, and works
