Citrix Online plug-in - Web - Ports needed
I tried to research this but couldn't find a straight answer. I have a user in a very secure environment and I need to know if the only port that the Citrix web client needs open is 443. If user can use our secure webmail wouldn’t the Citrix client work as well? I need to make sure so I don’t embarrass myself if I make such a statement to the admin on the other end and it doesn’t work.
Thanks,
Paul

If a Citrix Access Gateway device or Citrix Secure Gateway software or NetScaler device is used, then only TCP Port 443 is needed. I would think the same would be true regardless of the secure HW or SW the client connect to or through.

Can you dumb that down for me? Kinda new to this Citrix thing.
On our end we are running Xen Ap 6 if that helps you. I don't think that CAG and the CSG are in play unless that is built into xen server. Needless to say we had help setting this all up. Now I'm looking really noobish.
