Hi hnael,

I'll make it simple.

Download this and install it:

http://bitnami.org/stack/wordpress

It will install a web server, MySQL, PHP, and WordPress on a local computer.

Yes.  You should be able to view the site by going to http://localhost/ in your browser.

You will need a web host that supports PHP and MySQL, yes.  But why not make your life easy and just open a WordPress.com account and let them worry about the hosting issues?

Jason: Why not let wordpress host because it says clearly wordpress will not allow you to do advert on your site , also they will own your themes as well , for that reason I will look for someone to host once I am done , if U can recomend someone pls do ? I am starting news sites so its a hell of work .

Okay, sure.  I didn't know if this was a commercial site or a personal project or what.

For self-hosting, I recommend Dreamhost.  It's cheap and they have a one-button WordPress deployment that works well.

thks it works , can u just pls give me the starting bit and we r done , like little tuorial , gt a book a bout wordpress will read and apply , but never used BitNami thing .

All the "Bitnami thing" is is an executable that installs and configures Apache, PHP, MySQL and a base copy of WordPress.  At the end, it should launch your browser and connect you to WordPress's install:

http://localhost:8080/wp-admin/install.php

It's not a program.  It's a web site.  What we did was create a local web server on your computer that also runs WordPress.  So if you launch your browser, http://localhost:8080/ is the site address and WordPress should already be there.
