BlackBerry Messaging Agent failed to start. Error code 0

I recently install the latest Windows updates on my SBS 2008 running BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express 5.0.2.29.

After I restarted my computer I'm now receiving an error "Blackberry Messaging Agent servername Agent 1 failed to start. Error Code 0"

I've uninstalled the updates but I'm still receiving the same error message.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Check the services are still running under the same Service account (BESAdmin or whatever you used).

Also check the BES MAGT logs and post more detailed errors.

Regards,

RobMobility.

Try stopping the DNS server and client then cycling the BlackBerry Controller, Dispatcher and Router services. If the services restart correctly, restart the DNS services and complete the following registry change:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

Right-click ReservedPorts, and then click Modify.

Paste the following at the bottom

48855-48858
45588-45588
49955-49955
45599-45599
4070-4071
