Creating Appointments for boss

I have a user who is an assistant to the president here. She has full access to his calendar so that she can schedule meetings and the like. The problem is that when she schedules a meeting for him he gets an instant email notification of the meeting as well as notifications of all accept and reject messages. Does anyone know of a way for here to take care of all the meeting stuff in his calendar but not have him notifed by email until everything is all confirmed by members of the meeting?

I had though about making her a separate calendar and not adding him until everything is sorted out but then she becomes part of the meeting and is unable to leave it...

Thanks!

In Outlook 2010, go to File, Info, Account Settings, Delegate Access.
