This is for Exchange 2007 on SBS2008
VSS writer - Microsoft Exchange Writer Failed or Waiting for completion
Cause: The VSS writer for Exchange Server enables applications to back up and restore Exchange storage groups that are stored on hardware that supports the VSS.
I am not very familiar with this environment. Please advice on how to troubleshoot the VSS errors.
