Video Clips in Premiere Elements

I hope this might be the correct zone....advise if not.

I am somewhat of a novice on using PE-9. I need to take 1 very long video clip and divide it into 2 with separate names.  I've read about editing clips by cutting the front /end or even in the middle but haven't seen anything about actually separating them.
I do hope someone has an answer.  Thanks in advance.

You should render final movie to get seperated output file.
1. Open the film
2. Use the razor tool on the timeline to cut it in half (or wherever you want)
3. Cut the second part
4. Export movie as 1
5. Paste the cut part
6. Cut the first part, leaving the second
7. Export movie as 2
Done :)
