Video Clips in Premiere Elements

I hope this might be the correct zone....advise if not.

I am somewhat of a novice on using PE-9. I need to take 1 very long video clip and divide it into 2 with separate names.  I've read about editing clips by cutting the front /end or even in the middle but haven't seen anything about actually separating them.  
I do hope someone has an answer.  Thanks in advance.

You should render final movie to get seperated output file.
Commented:
1. Open the film
2. Use the razor tool on the timeline to cut it in half (or wherever you want)
3. Cut the second part
4. Export movie as 1
5. Paste the cut part
6. Cut the first part, leaving the second
7. Export movie as 2
