There is a technet on the issue, it is fairly straight forward.

Control panel > programs and features > turn windows features on or off (left pane) >  select all IIS features > apply and ok.

IIS will then be installed

In turn windows features on or off, you just need to enable the following:-

IIS Management Console
IIS Managment Service

All the above are listed under Internet Information Services->Web Management Tools

After check in of the above, restart Windows 7.

After restart, goto Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools

and you can launch "Internet Information Services"

Hello Parth,

I would suggest you to use web PI. This tool is freely provided by iis.net and it will install all your required application with one click. have a look at it http://www.iis.net/webpi

You need to logon as local admin in order to add the IIS windows feature. Ask your IT / Helpdesk admin to do add the IIS foe you.
