Hi,

I have a .NET based project which compiles into a project.dll file.

Can anyone provide me the way to integrate my project with N-ANT? Can I use the N-ANT to generate the reports?

Regards,

From the docs on the Nant website, Nant only supports solutions up to Visual Studio 2003 format usign the <solution> task
http://nant.sourceforge.net/release/latest/help/tasks/solution.html

You can still compile newer versions, but then you'll have to use the csc task (or the vbc task) to invoke the compiler manually
http://nant.sourceforge.net/release/latest/help/tasks/csc.html

But with the release of MsBuild, which also supports xml based build targets, the need to do so is a lot less then in the past.

So why do you want to use nant to build your projects, what can it do better than what you could do with standard msbuild functionality? And which reports are you after.

Most build tools can do almost anything, as long as you configure the rights tasks, or build the missing tasks yourself, you the real question here is, what is it you want?

You can also use the <msbuild> task for nant to invoke a 2005+ solution or project build:
