Hello

I want to change background color of a word 2007 page and print the document.
I change the background color page from page layout -> page color and all seem fine
but when i print the page (or print preview it), it leaves a white space on top and bottom
of the page.
How can i fill all the printable print area of the page with color and remove these white spaces?

have a look to this screenshot: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/3/pageeb.jpg/

thank you

Sounds like your header and footer need the colour changing as well, or reduce the size of these to zero.

Open your document and click on the area above your work.  you will then be greeted with a dotted line with header written on it.  Right click and use the same procedure as on the rest of your document.

You'll notice the header bar above.  You can use this to set the size of  the header and footer to zero, it's on the right hand side.

ok i tried to put Header from Top and header from Bottom from 0.28" to 0" but nothing changed actually.
The only thing that changed is tha the Logo moved on the top of the page.

I that case you may need to also change the text boundaries. you can do this from within Margins on the Page Layout tab.

What printer are you using?  Is it a inkjet?  Don't forget that all printers leave white space around the edges.  If you need to literally fill the whole page, then there are very few printers that will achieve this.

Unfortunately I cannot see your picture (My corporate policies stop me from accessing "photo" sites.  how much gap is there around the page that is not coloured?

ok i see...that's what i was thinking also.
It's about 3mm.

Ah, in that case it's almost certainly the cause of your woes.  I was thinking it was something like 1-2 cm, which is the norm for margins etc.  The only other suggestion I can make is to guilotine the edges if you don't need to be exact about the size of the paper.
