How do you reset a Netgear GS724T switch to factory default if you have no password

I have a Netgear Prosafe GS724T switch  and have lost the password. How can I reset it to factory or recover the password?

If there is a reset button (accessible with a pin/pencil/etc) try holding it for 10-15 seconds while looking at the LEDs. That is the normal way to factory reset most Netgear products.
