Installation Designer -> select the folder -> Properties -> Permissions; add domain [%USERDOMAIN] and user [LogonUser], and specify Full permissions. Press F1 on that dialog for more details. You probably can also specify CREATOR OWNER as the user.

Your version seem to be a newer one. I am using InstallShield Professional 2.03. Any guidance here?

Is that possible to create a bat file to give this kind of permission and then called the script from InstallShield?

No, sorry, it's way too old, the current version is 11. I think your best resource is Help - press F1 and search for the word "permissions". Same regarding creating the bat file - most like likely it's possible (though if there's "native", way, it's better), but can't say how.

There's very high probability that attempt to install the installation created by this XX years old Installshield on today's systems will bring tons of trouble.

I try exactly that F1/ permissions but the version doesn't return anything with this word. I don't think this version supports grant access to folder. I found the way out using script though. Thank you.
