Web based reporting delivery with Microsoft SQL 2008

I looking to standardize our analytics/ reporting and move away from Crystal Reports.  All our applications run off of Microsoft SQL 2008.  Can anyone recommend a web based product that will allow us to setup web viewable reports?  I need security per user so the sales staff can view the accounting reports.  Qlikview has a nice look but, was looking for a more cost effective solution.  I havn’t had an opportunity to review SQL Reporting Services and not sure if this will meet my requirements  Any recommendations appreciated.
Thank you

SSRS should meet your needs.

FYI - building a report in SSRS is a vastily different process than building a Crystal Report.  Be prepared for a learning curve and the requiement for training.

What are your reasons for moving away from Crystal?

There are tools that can help but you will basically have to recreate all the reports you have written from scratch.
