Cannot use Canon iRC2380 as remote printer
An HP colour laserjet died yesterday leaving the user (on Vista Biz A) with a Canon iRC2380 A3 printer which is all that is really needed.
The user needs to RDP into another PC (Vista Biz B) 50 miles away and print out accounts documents, however, we cannot see the Canon printer on Vista Biz B.
I've downloaded and installed the Canon drivers but still can't see it.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Do they have Printer mapping enabled in the RDP client

Not sure what you mean by printer mapping in RDP
On the rdp client - Options -> local resources -> printers

Yes, I checked that first thing.
Make sure all Terminal Services services are started on Vis Biz A. There also, in XP, is a reg mod needed to redirect ports that didn't start with LPT...

Thanks John. I'll try the fix later when I have access to both PCs, which are currently being used.

I tried running the FixIt wizard on the remote PC, but no luck.

Shareef - drivers were slightly different on the 2 PCs.
