Dell PowerEdge 2950 - Dell ESXi 4.1 image

I just recently purchased a Dell 2950.  I'm able to install VMWare's ESXi 4.1 image perfectly fine, however, I would rather use Dell's image for I'm trying to utilize their sensors.  I only see v4.0 on Dell's website.  Will I be able to utilize the Dell sensors with the VMWare ESXi 4.1 image or do I have to wait until Dell releases their own image of 4.1?

You can download the Dell one from Dell or VMware, or later add the CIM Providers by using vCLI and using vihostupdate.pl.

It's easier to download the Dell OEM Cuistomisied Image from Dell or VMware.

I think A03/A04 are the latest of ESXi 4.1 U1.

There is one already. Go to the VMware support, hypervisor download and download the dell image. It is about halfway down the list.

Dell ESXi Installable CD for ESXi 4.1 Update 1 A03
03/28/11  |  4.1 U1  |  428 MB  |  Binary (.iso)

You will need to sign on to the vmware site with your credentials.
