I would like to know what´s the real meaning of the expresion tier-1 when sizeing an exchange 2010 enviroment with the Exchange 2010 Mailbox Server Role Requirements Calculator.<br />

I plan to migrate to 2010 and I have 4000 mailbox already. <br />
I am using the Exchange 2010 Mailbox Server Role Requirements Calculator and I have 4 field of tier´s to fill but I do not understand what does it mean. <br />
I have to fill one tier 1 with 4000 or two with 2000.. I really do not understand.<br />
