Global Address List not updating

We have been adding phone numbers to user properties in our Active Directory and via the Exchange Management console.

When the GAL is accessed via Outlook several users information is not being displayed.

What can be done to resolve this issue?

I do not have outlook infront of me but i think there is an option to download the new address book ? Do some of your users have offline address books by chance ?

No we do not employ offline access or cached mode.

The gal is updated every 24hours by default.
