Are there any known issues when upgrading from 5.2.0.1 to 5.6.0.10? And can I just import my backed up settings to get ALL of my settings back after the upgrade? Or does it keep all settings as long as the firmware upgrade is clean?

I have not found any issues with the latest FW on my 240 and aded a lot of features.

I made a backup just to be sure but I did not end up needing it, not saying you won't I also downloaded it to be safe.

Mine installed rebooted and all settings were the same.

Obviously for it to apply it does have to go down though.

No known issues. What I'd recommend is getting a backup of the current firmware WITH the current settings. If things go awry, boot the sonicwall into safe mode and load your backed up firmware with settings. The article below is how to use safe mode.

Awesome, that's what I'm doing, too. Mine is definitely as 2400 though... older model (3 years old) than 240 I think.

No doubt...

The 240 is just a smaller not quite as powerful 2400 I have a brand new 240 and an older 240, biggest difference is the 2400 is rack mountable where the 240 is not.
