Hi,

I would like my website to use the type of control shown in the attached file.  The control will pop up to guide and inform the user as they use the website.

Question is:

What are they called and can I have some vb.net (or other) code to show me how to code them.

Thanks

Thanks yes the control is similar to a tooltip and callout validator but this control sits at the top of a screen typically.  I did not make this clear I'm sorry.  Please see
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/tooltip/examples/targetcontrolsandajax/defaultcs.aspx#

The control I am after is more like the box at the top of this telrik page with the "i" icon in it.  Difference is the control I'm after will have a close "X" on the right.  I do have telrik licence.

Thanks but neither have the close button I am after.  They display but how does the user close them?

Check this one, you have a lot of option, especially fix its position : http://infobox.codeplex.com/

Thanks so much but still not quite there.  You cannot seem to fix it postion and size etc to make it look like the embedded image at the start of this thread....  Its more of a pop up than label with a close button on it.
