SMTP Relay Exchange 2010

I have a 2010 Hub Transport Server that is not facing the Internet (Internal Only).  I want to enable SMTP Relay for Internal devices and printers.  Should I create a new connector on the Hub Transport Server  or should I use the Default Connector on the Hub Transport Server for SMTP Relay for the internal devices?

You could use the interal connector if it's not Internet facing, you would need to add the appropriate network segment or individual IP addresses that you want to allow to relay SMTP traffic.

You can also set the authentication method to "Externally Secured" and allow anonymous connections.
