asked on Integrating a new Windows 2008 R2 DC
Network with 2 DC, WIndows 2000 SP4 DC and Windows 2003 SP2 DC,
Functional level of domain is omain is "WIndows 2000 mixed" mode can be changed it to "WIndows 2000 native"
Is it possible to integrate a new Windows 2008 R2 DC in this domain since there is a Windows 2000 SP4 DC ?
After promoting the new 2008 R2 DC I will demote the Windows 2000 DC
Should I do it before promotion ?

Sorry answer of last question. Once you have transfered FSMO roles to win2k8 dc. yes you can demote win2k dc by simply runing dcpromo on win2k dc.
