How to develop windows mobile applications in vs2010.

Hi
I have one query from client which is below.

Iam having visualstudio2010 environment.
I need to develop windows mobile applications in vs2010.
I did not find any environment to develop windows mobile applications.
What are the prerequesties to install windows mobile in vs2010.
My vs2010 is on windows 7 operation system.
If it is xp what kind of prerequesties i need to install windows mobile in vs2010.

You can still use VS 2008 to develop mobile applications prior to v7. If you absolutely must use the older versions of the mobile SDK then you can install VS 2008 Express just for this development but as manishkungwani said, VS 2010 does not support this anymore.

as in vs 2008 i came to kknow that there
is compact framework is there.THrew that we can develop the
windows phone?

so according u we can not install compact framework in vs2010.
is it correct form my side?

You can check what is else required depending on your operating system by looking under the "System Requirements" section on the above link.

You also need Visual Studio 2008 with Smart Device Programmability features installed.
