Change IP in Exchange 2007

If possible I would suggest having those other servers reconfigured to send to host name such as alerts01.yourdomain.com, which can point to any smtp server you want. That gives you the flexability to just change the ip address on that host name and not create issues with your exchange servers.
 AND
I agree, that would be the ideal situation but it really not possible at the moment which is why I am lookng at the possibily of switching the IP of the servers. I'm 99% sure it will work fine but just looking to see if anyone can suggest otherwise!

if you face any issue, pelase use EMC, tool box , best practise analyser> connectivity test with AD.

may I ask, why would you want to change exchange ip ?
