Do the following steps to reduce File size..

1. Open HP SIM -> Go to Task and logs
2. Choose View all scheduled tasks.
3. If not available, Create a Delete events task to Delete events older than 90 days.
4. Schedule it to run Daily or Weekly based upon your incoming load

After you run the task for the first time alone, just Shrink your Database size from SSMS to reduce file size from 34 GB to a lesser one.

Can you please share the file size ......

Like right click DB and go to Select a page and then Files and tell me the initial size of DB and as well as...same way tell me the recovery model of DB tooo...

And one more thing....right click DB go to task---shrink---files....share the screenshot of that too...

Thanks

One suggestion...please take a Backup of your SQL DB before going to truncate or Shrink your DB..
