Exchange 2007 Database Portability to new AD and Exchange Org

We are rebuilding our Windows 2008 domain to a complete new Active Directory. We will also set up new Exchange 2007 CCR servers as duplicates of our current environment. Keeping the database portablity in mind, we want to create new Exchange servers, and re-mount all of our Exchange databases onto the new servers. There will be no IP links between the two environments. Recreating new user accounts in the new site and reconnecting mailboxes (manually or scripts) is also being considered. I understand that the Exchange Organization has to have the same name as the old one but does the AD domain and forest have to have the same naming structure as the old one? Is this possible?
Thank you.

This guy makes it sound like he had to use the same domain?

You might consider setting up a cross forest trust and migrating the mailboxes.

As for users you could try
