Print jobs not deleting after job prints
I know this question has been asked before and the solution was to turn off bidirectional support. However, this is occuring on several of my printers on the print server and Bidirectional support is not turned on. Problem is after I restart the print spooler all the jobs in the spool with status deleting - printed, reprint. It could be 20-50 jobs reprinting.

That may work however we have hundreds of printers to manage and they all print via Citrix programs.

Status is Deleted-Printed on all jobs in queue.
See if there are interruption in the print job and that might prevent the task from completing.
Do you have a single print server, do you have multiple queues?
Do the jobs that get stuck make a specific pattern, i.e. of a particular graphics type/job size, etc.?
Are there any logs on the printer that could shed light on the situation?

I hate being a google monkey, but I'm guessing that jobs are being held in queue after the user disconnects or logs off abruptly when a print job has been completed, but the printer didn't report back the job is complete.
The link below suggests putting in a registry entry to auto-delete print jobs and printers on disconnected users.

It's not set to "Keep Printed Documents" in the advanced settings of the printer?
Does this affect all printers?
Also check in the printer properties, under advanced Print Processor that it is Winprint-RAW

@Arnold: There is only one print server. All printers are set up with same. Most do not have any issues. There are 5 out of about 70 printers that will not remove the job from queue even though it has printed. The printed items are from a variety of applications on these 5. Nothing in the event viewer.
@jimpen: I am going to give that entry a try on one of the workstations and see if this is the solution.
@David: Unfortunately it's not the Keep Printed setting. The print processor is set to RAW.

@jimpen: I found this is not isolated to one computer. It is anyone that prints to the particular printer. Any jobs in the queue reprint whenever the spooler is restarted or the print server is rebooted.
Double check that the print drivers are current and this might be a flaw in that. i.e. periodic miscommunication that the print completed successfully at which point the delete job is began.

I verified it has the latest Microsoft print driver and gave Everyone Manage permissions.

Deleting the printers and the printer ports then readding with the default driver fixed the problem. Have not had a single hung job since.
Set it to print directly to the printer
