Connecting Dell PowerConnect 24 port switch to 2Wire 4 Port DSL Modem

Hello!

I purchased a Dell PoweConnect 24 Port switch.

I teamed 4 ports on the switch with the team on my server and now have 4GBPS on the internal switch.

I am getting ready to connect it to the 2Wire 2701HG-G 4 Port Wireless DSL Router.

The main server uses Remote Desktop/Terminal Server and my remote offices connect to the server through the router.

I am wondering this:

1. Should I connect 4 network cables from the 4 ports on the router to 4 ports on the switch and then team those 4 ports on the switch together?

2. Is it even usefule to connect 4 network cables from the DSL Modem/Router to the 24 port switch?
