Do you have some energy saving setings on your laptop? Is this problem only on batery mode?

Hi Which proxy setting are you taking about, the proxy setting are set to automatic.
The one in Lan settings shows automically detect settings.
The one in Lan settings shows automically detect settings.
so basically DHCP enabled in your LAN.
what about the ip address of LAN and WiFi?
if both are dhcp enabled, you must be having 2
ip addresses in your pc.
let me know that.

Many wireless drivers (not just Dell's) offer an option to disable the wireless card when an ethernet connection is detected.
Do Start->Run, DEVMGMT.MSC [Enter]
Scroll down to the Network adapters and click the + sign to expand that entry.
Double-click the wireless adapter (or right-click it and choose Properties).
On the Advanced tab of the wireless adapter's Properties page, scroll through its options and look for one called
Disable Upon Wired Connect or similar.
With that particular syntax, the Enabled or True state of that option would cause the behavior described in the original post; Disabled or False would allow both the wired and wireless adapters to be connected at the same time (which could cause routing problems).
