asked on
sbs 2003 full dns name
hi all,
im doing a server 2003 to sbs 2011 migration and im preparing answer file,
its asking mefor Full DNS NAME,
i assume this is
SERVERNAME.mydomain,local
I have "internal Domain NAme" set to : mydomain.local.
Probablly a silly question but wanted to be sure.
thanks

Yes, you have to specify FQDN for your server since SBS install domain name as bundled component. You have to specify yourserver+yourlocaldomain
Thanks,
