Outlook shared calendar issues

Hello Experts,

We currently have users in a TS 2008 environment using outlook 2010 in live mode (i.e. not cached exchange mode).

They have an Exchange server on a server 2003 platform (exchange 2007) with valid auto-discover.xml/url's etc.

they are having problems where  if they have 'owner' perms to other calendars, permissions will reset back to default and and colour changes they make to appointments revert back to default.

Also some users are complaining that when viewing the users calendars all of ntheir appointments are 'busy' and they are not 'private' appointments.

any ideas on how to resolve?
