XenApp 5 Web Interface Apps are very slow to load or don't load at all

I had previous closed this case because it was working fine the following day after I posted this below.  Since then I am back testing now 2 days later and the same exact issues are occuring as I described below.  In addition this is what I have tried:

Publishing just notepad - Login time into the applications is fast no issues, then without clicking on anything notepad tries to start gets to the Welcome small screen and then disappears.  I dont even click on notepad to start it.  If I click on it afterwords it does the same thing. Very Strange.

I have just installed a Windows 2008 XenApp5 Farm. I have 2 Servers in the FARM plus a Web Interface 5.4 and Secure GW 3.2.1 installed on a 2008 Server in the DMZ.

I have the server licensed and all error messages are resloved after installation.  I can access my Secure GW from the outside and login successfully. I can see my published applications (File Browse to our shared drive using iexplore.exe ) and (INTRANET page using iexplore.exe).  Sometimes the applications take about 10 min after i click on it and they pop up, other (most) times it gets to the preparing Desktop and just disappears leaving me with the main application menu

I AM using IE 9 to provide these applications. See below for the command lines I am using.

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -e http://internalserv
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -e \\sql3\shared

IS I.E. 9 messing with me?  If so, does anyone know another way to at least publish shares besides using IE. (i am using that becuase the prior admin did it this way) New to Citrix...

Update:  After removing my test user from any login scripts now the application (notepad.exe) gets to preparing your desktop and it takes over 1 minute for notepad to popup.

Rov17:

Thanks for the information.  I have nailed down the issue to mapped printers in my AD login script (.vbs)  They are getting hung up.  Any advise how to handle login script printers from AD with Citrix ?

Thanks again
