I am trying to drop a database, but seeing an error and can't drop the database. This is an old unused WSS 3.0 database, and I have SQL Server 2005 on the server. I tried dropping the database within Mangement Studio.

Drop Failed For Database "WSS_Content_81"

Access to table dbo.suspect_pages is blocked because the signature is not valid. Problems recording information in the msdb..suspect_pages table were encountered. This error does not interfere with any activity expect maintenance of the suspect_pages table. Check the error log for more information. Microsoft SQL Server, Eorror: 33002)

I also tried the drop command, but received a:

Cannot drop the database 'wss_content_81', because it does not exist or you do not have permission.

Now a restart of the server, MS SQL and SharePoint services may resolve this problem and the database will be gone. However, can you suggest other solutions?
