SQL Express 2005 Database marked as Suspect

A few hours ago our office suffered a power failure that caused our SQL server to restart. After restoring the power, I came to see that my SQL database has marked my main application 's database as Suspect. I checked and both the .mdf files and on the drive. I also noticed that my last good backups were made back in Dec 2010. Is there a way to recover this db without doing a restore?

First of all please check SQL Server error logs, you'll find there indication what is wrong with the database (missing file, etc.) If you feel comfortable with that you can post log here for review.

You cannot restore datab without backup, but you can try to save as much data as you can in this kind of scenario.
So if you still need assistance with your suspect database just answer, I thought question was urgent ...

Yes, I wanted to suggest it to you. I guess you are aware of REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS option. Glad you've got it working.
