Windows 7 pro system restore, trust relation broke with domain controller

I had to perform a system restore on a windows 7 pro workstation connected to a server 2008 domain controller. Now I can't log in. I get a trust relationship error. Any ideas?

Will the user's old domain profile on the local machine be available once it is rejoined?

Yes it will.  Unjoing the PC from the domain DOES NOT get rid of the users profile that was already established,  After re-joining the profile will become active again when the user logs in.

I wouldn't sysprep the machine if all you did was a restore, just removing it and re-adding it to the domain should suffice.

By default, Windows computers will negotiate a new system password with the domain every 30 days (similar to users, but behind the scenes).  So the restore point you used, was likely older than the last changed password so that's why the trust change.  Depending on the timing of the password change, you may or may not be required to re-add it to the domain.
