Setting up a Sonicwall VPN

I have a remote user who uses DSL. After walking her through setting up the firewall I find out that the modem is not in bridge mode. Therefore the firewall is grabbing an IP from the modem to get internet. Will this cause a problem when setting up a VPN back to the main site? Will her DSL modem have to be in bridge mode?

By the way the firewall is a TZ 100 (remote) hooking back to a TZ 210.

1)no need to remove Modem if you dont want, in VPN key try using Sonicwall VPN identifier (but you may find difficulties).
2) you can also covert modem and Bridge (Recomended)
3)you can also provide VPN access VIA GVC (Global VPN Client), its easy and secure as well (Recomended).
