List of Web Analytics Software (self-hosted)

I am looking for a list of web analytics software we can host on our servers.  So far I have only been able to find 7 of them: "Open Web Analytics", "Piwik", "FireStats ", "Grape Web Statistics", "SlimStat", "TraceWatch", and "Mint".  It looks like none of these that I've listed were meant to be run on IIS and ideally we want one that will run on the Microsoft technology stack (Windows, IIS, Sql Server).  It would be great if it were free but if there was a good one that costed money I think my bosses would spring for it.  Can someone post a list of self-hosted web analytics software that we can run on our Microsoft environment (so I can review them against eachother)?

Thanks

SmarterStats from http://www.smartertools.com/ comes to mind.  This is what we used when I owned a hosting company and it is what is being used by the hosting company I have now.

I think AWStats is capable of being run on the Windows environment. WebLogExpert might be another one as well, it seems to have it's own server on one of the versions.
I have used smarter stats, awstats and weblogexpert too.

To be honest they mostly do the same-ish stuff.

Another more commercial one is webtrends which is probably one of the large market leaders.

and some more:

http://www.exacttrend.com/
http://www.loganalyzer.net/download.html

But really what extra information are you after that you really need. Most just display the same data in a different GUI/graph.

Thank you for the post coreybryant.  AWStats and WebLogExpert are both log analyzers as opposed to web analytics applications.  Log analyzers are similar to web analytics except they have a few key deficiencies: log analyzers will burden the web server when querying live data, log analyzers are very slow when you query live data (unless you significantly restrict your query), log analyzers are not capable of reporting on client side events like button clicks (since those are not logged in the web logs), and log analyzers are generally not capable of analyzing form post data (since post data is usually not captured in web logs).

I have not heard of SmarterStats but I will investigate it a little further (their website is pretty thin on info about their products so I emailed them asking for more at sales@smartertools.com).

They have a free version - http://www.smartertools.com/smarterstats/free-web-analytics-seo-software.aspx - in which you can download / install and test.

Rovastar,

Thank you for taking the time to post.

After doing some investigation (they definitely dont make it easy) I am pretty sure that smarter stats is just a log analyzer.

WebTrends does offer a product that does web analytics, works on Microsoft technology, and is installable on our servers (thanks!)

Nihuo (at loganalyzer.net) is just a log analyzer
ExtractTrend looks like they only provide log analysis software as well
Abacre Advanced Log Analyzer is also just a log analyzer

I agree Rovastar, it would be nice if there was a standardized set of terms surrounding this class of software.

coreybryant, thanks for the link.  I did download the software but in reading through their documentation I am pretty sure they just do log analysis (so i havent installed it yet).  Since you have used it before can you tell me if it is capable of analyzing post data, analyzing mouse clicks/movement, or allows real time reporting without hitting the server hosting the sites I want to analyze?

WebTrends fits the bill but I was hoping to get at least a couple options so I could compare and select the best.   I will leave this question open for a little bit in case someone else has heard of any other alternatives.

Thanks again for your help!
Here is a list of everything that is in there.  You might also check http://help.smartertools.com/SmarterStats/v3/Default.aspx?p=A&v=3.3.2761&lic=ENT

I have not used it too much to really look at a lot of the features, etc.
