New distribution group not working

I created a new distribution group.  It is a Universal Group with 3 members.  When I send a test, I get the reply back that the email address can't be found.  This is the first distribution group I've created since we upgraded to Exchange 2010.  What am I missing?

never got any futher replies
open exchange management console, and navigate to recipients configuration, distribution group, double click the group, and go to email addresses tab, made sure the group has an email address
Check if the below KB applies to your situation

You receive an NDR message in an Exchange Server 2007 environment when you try to send an e-mail message to an address type that is supported by a fax connector
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952773
Presuming you have an Edge server. Try forcing a sync by running the following:
Start-EdgeSynchronization -Server Hub01 -TargetServer Edge03 -ForceFullSync
