vmware converter Hot vs Cold

Is there a time difference with how long it will take to convert with Cold vs. Hot? Also can anyone think of any big differences between Hot and Cold? I know about the DB's such as SQL severs and Exchange. Anything else? Thank you

I'm on the bleeding edge with my V-block. So i'm trying to get some people to have some faith and lets do a hot vs a cold and try and use some of our technology and avoid downtime. I'm just trying to find something on paper to  point at and say see!! Vs my and my energy drink rants.

To use a cold clone cdrom you will need enterprise licenses.
I started with Experts Exchange in 2004 and it's been a mainstay of my professional computing life since. It helped me launch a career as a programmer / Oracle data analyst
