Extending a class...

hey guys,

i seem to be having some very fundamental mental blocks. im trying to extend the class System.Windows.Documents.Table so that i can create a few properties and methods for it. my problem is that i'd like to do the same for the TableColumn, TableRow and TableCell classes, however my problem is that for example the Table class has a TableColumnCollection property which is a collection of the Column class...so does this mean i have to extend the TableColumnCollection class with my own and add that property to my extended Table class...or is there an easier way to do this?

also, i havent worked with inheritance for a long long time, however from what i can remember when you inherit from a base class, constructors dont get inherited. is this right? simplest work around to create new constructors with the same parameters and call the mybase constructor?

cheers
