Automatic Restore after a backup Backup Exec 2010 r3

Hi, i have searched but have been unable to find a suitible solution.

Im running a daily, weekly and monthly backup to disk.
The monthly backup is automatically duplicated to tape for offsite storage.

However, is there a way to automate the restoreprocess to verify that written data is ok?
I.e. is there a way to automatically restore a job directly after a backup has been sucessfully run?

Turn on verify on the backupjob.

Verify reads data from the backup and the host to see if it matches.

Is "verify" a respected way to check if the data can be restored?
Is far as i know "verify" and "restore" are two different ways to control the data integretry and verify should not be used as a way to control the restorefunction.

Please expand on your statement.

Verify will check if the data written to disk is the exact same as it reads from the server.
This is done after the backup has finished writing.
This will suffice for most people in a daily to daily basis.

A restore operation may fail for any number of reasons. Corrupted data, verified by a verify will seldom be the problem. More often it is other issues giving you grief when trying to restore data.

I would personally run the verify after each backup if the need for verification is needed
In addition I would run monthly or quarterly restore operations to verify that I am able to restore a subset of the data in the given amount of time.
Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.

Hi!
The quote: "In addition I would run monthly or quarterly restore operations to verify that I am able to restore a subset of the data in the given amount of time." is what i am asking about really. Is there a way  to automate this procedure. Example. Im running a monthly GRT Exchange backup and after a sucessfull backup i would like to run a restore of a portion of this backup.
