Reinstall my DC

Hi everybody,

I'd like some suggestions to reinstall one of my domain controllers.  I have a phisical server that is obsolet running Windows 2003 Server.
I'm purchasing another machine and I will have to install Windows 2008 Server.
After install Windows 2008, I need to configure it with the same IP number and the same network name.
After that, I need to change it to work as a domain controller.
What are the best steps that I have to do?

Thanks

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
