The font "Times New Roman" contains a bad /BBox

I've never encountered this problem before. In Acrobat 8, I've been using documents over and over and have never seen this. Suddenly, I'm opening documents in Acrobat 8.1 and getting this message.

I tried reinstalling the font, and that didn't solve the problem.

What can I do to fix it?

Hi ve3ofa, I saw that topic before posting and it appears unrelated. This issue is something that just arose on a document that we've been using for months without problems.

Embedded fonts are many, but I'm not sure how the doumnet is really using them all. Also, when I try to optimize the file to remove fonts, I get "An error was encountered while optimizing content streams" error. Then it repeats the "Time New Roman bad /BBox" message.

Resolved through my own means. My employee had to recreate the file, but points for the assist anyway. Thanks!
