It might be the case that hard drive has gone bad.
If recovery tools does not work, you can go to BIOS setup menu by pressing F10 when turning on the computer, then look for the Diagnostics option to check and confirm if the hard drive is bad (or other F1-F12 key if you see on the screen).

Thanks, I reinstalled OS, Also done Hard Disk test, results say not hard disk detected. but when I insert pen drive, it boots and all data is shown in Hard disk. Hard disk shows there, then y it is not booting with HDD, I checked the boot order also , all is fine...
It appears your hard drive is no longer useful. I would now certainly ensure you have your data secure and try another drive. .... Thinkpads_User
Is this a sata or ide hard drive...if ide then check the jumper settings....if sata..then try other ports on the motherboard.
Did you format the hard drive while installing windows 7...backup the data first and then format the hard drive.

Do you have any data in the hard disk...if not then do this step.
Boot from the windows 7 disc and do debug format.
NOTE: Type the bolded text only (the debug prompt is a dash). You may receive an error if you type anything other than the bold text. The non-bolded text represents the system response that will appear after typing each command and pressing the Enter key.
debug
-F 200 L1000 0
-A CS:100
xxxx:0100 MOV AX,301
xxxx:0103 MOV BX,200
xxxx:0106 MOV CX,1
xxxx:0109 MOV DX,80
NOTE: Type 80 for the primary hard drive - HD 0, or type 81 for the secondary hard drive - HD 1. In most cases, the primary hard drive is required 80.
xxxx:010C INT 13
xxxx:010E INT 20
xxxx:0110 (Leave this line blank. Press the Enter key to continue.)
-G
The message Program terminated normally appears.
Press the power button to turn off your computer.

Try this if u do not have any data in the computer....if u have data in the laptop it can be backed from winre mode.

What killDisk will do???
If the drive is useable, killdisk removes partitions and data and lets you start again. But if your hard drive test says the drive is not there, then I doubt it will do anything. ... Thinkpads_User

But all data is shown there when i boot it from usb device..system starts.show hard drive there, partition shown..all data shown
Way back, you said you tried to install Windows but it failed. You the hard drive test said the drive wasn't there. So something is wrong there.
But it is no real surprise that a system that can spin the drive can see the data. I have had this happen myself, and the solution was to grab the data and get a new drive. This is why I am suggesting you try another drive.
The only other time was when the motherboard failed and corrupted the drive. I still recovered the drive and then it meant a new computer (time anyway in that case). ... Thinkpads_User

Having backed up, look at this link for a Windows 7 startup repair:

See if that can get you back to a bootable state. ... Thinkpads_User
