Opening an old Thunderbird mail profile on a network drive
We have a user who left the company months ago, we have his thunderbirdd mail profile folder backed up to a network location (eg. Z:\IT\Backup Tim)
Is there a way that I can open that mail folder without importing the whole thing into my mailbox nor copy it onto the C drive.
I know that Outlook can easily open a PST anywhere on the network but its not quite obvious for Thunderbird. Please help

Re Outlook PST files, it is best to avoid opening them over a network, they can get corrupted. If it is for a backup, then run a local backup to backup the PST files onto the network and back them up.
this will save you some problems in the future
