Also, as it is an MFD, do not try to scan until 45 seconds after the last button press on the machine's keyboard, or it will not work.

Without hearing back from the original poster, we can't know if anyone provided the solution. But I think both experts provided solid advice, so I would recommend splitting the points evenly between the two experts who responded. Regards, Joe

I am running windows XP, Photoshop 10, windows 2008 server<br />

Sometimes I import using TWAIN 3245Scanner (TWAIN driver version 3) and it works perfectly.<br />

Other times I import, nothing happens then I get the error message 8528 Scanner is not available<br />

I can send to print though so the connections are all OK.<br />

I have checked connections, rebooted my machine, turned scanner/printer off and on etc etc...<br />
